7. The Truth About Hypnobirthing
My guest in this episode is the very wonderful Nancy Keen. We met many years ago when I did my hypnobirthing training, and bonded as we’re both trained doulas but didn’t have the time to dedicate to it with a family. But agreed it was both our our retirement plans!!
I really wanted to chat with her about hypnobirthing. To dispelling some of the myths and misunderstandings about what hypnobirthing actually is and how it can fully prepare you for birth, for parenthood and have a more positive pregnancy too.
Because there is such a lot of misunderstanding out there, and we are both so passionate about birth and supporting women and birthing people and their partners to have the best possible experience, that’s right for them and their baby on the day - wherever and however that is.
And don't forget to subscribe to the For Modern Mothers Podcast for the latest conversations on all things modern motherhood.
Enjoy the episode, and as ever get in touch with any questions or feedback too. As well as ideas for future episodes that you want me to explore are always welcome too.
