Because in this country (the UK) sadly post baby womens physical health checks are sadly lacking on the NHS. This means that many women suffer problems that could be improved with some specialist women's physiotherapy.My guest this week wants to change that. Emma Tailby is an expert in this area, as a specialist Women's Health Physiotherapist, working in private practice.

Emma shares her top tips for the immediate period after birth - it’s so important to inform yourself and to know in pregnancy what to expect and what you can prepare for too. We also chat about the important of rest, perineal care after birth (what every new mums needs to know!), the pelvic floor (which both of us have a passion for), posture and breathing (ditto), post natal exercise and more. And also where to get help and support for your postnatal body - so important.
